I just wanted to thank you so very much for your time and expert opinion regarding your quote and discussion about the residence and especially for taking into consideration, the needs of my aged and ill mother, Jan Mayes, in her property at Golden Beach.
I was initially impressed by your adaptability to fit around my mother’s doctor appointment on the day, and agreeing to arrive earlier so she could see her doctor.
I was also impressed by your timeliness and respect for my mother and I by contacting me and advising me you were going to be a little late for the new appointment time. You were very polite and respectful throughout the entire time, especially at the start of the appointment when I had to take another call and you went about your appraisal and business while I addressed the phone call when you arrived.
We were both impressed by your preparedness, extensive knowledge and obvious expertise at the meeting and throughout the discussion. We appreciated your assessment of her current situation and especially your recommendation not to go beyond the needs of the household and my mother’s financial capacity as a pensioner on oxygen support.
I must admit that I certainly wasn’t expecting you to pass up a sale and commission for the good of a propspective client! That was an outcome that neither my mother nor I expected and we both commented on your outright honestly, outstanding ethics and morals after you had departed the property. My mother even said: “That was the most honest and amazing interview and quote for a job that I have ever had and been given!!! He was a genuinely nice young man who appeared to really care about me – not out to get a sale for himself but thought about me and my needs and my finances – how amazing!”
So thank you so very much for restoring our faith in the solar business and especially their sales people and you as an outstanding representative. You are an impressive young man.
I teach at the University of the Sunshine Coast in a number of courses including Introduction to Marketing; Sport and Event Marketing; Tourism, Leisure and Event Management; Policy and Planning in Tourism, Leisure and Events. I must admit that I looked at you and saw you as a representative of my Business/Marketing students leaving university this year. You are a shining exemplar of what our university would like to be sending out into the workplace.
Congratulations on who and what you are, and especially your approach to business ethic
Best wishes,
Dr Gayle Mayes
