This week's axing of the solar hot water rebate is bad news for those thinking about installing solar hot water, but it does not affect you if is solar power you are after. Grid connected solar power is under a different rebate scheme and existing subsidies for solar power remain unchanged. There will, however, be a review of the solar power subsidies at the end of June where things may change.
